The thing about civilization is, it keeps you civil. Get rid of one, you can’t count on the other…
People are tribal. The more settled things are, the bigger the tribes can be. The churn comes, and the tribes get small again. When the Churn comes, there’s nothing for it.
The only game: Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new.
Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything.
Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either…

*Ain’t nothing to do with me: we’re just caught in the Churn, that’s all.*
There’s nothing to be done
*The only game. Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.*
